OG Spiritual Godess arrived on Planet Earth more than thirty years ago in a mystical village called Manjonjo in Murewa , Zimbabwe.
Manjonjo is a beautiful village set in the middle of romantic Mountains, loomed by huge trees, their trunks rusty brown and reddish, thickened with deep layers of furrowed, rivers flowing graciously downhill from one place to another and the earth deep red like full blossomed tomatoes.
A village , full of life, ancient music, storytellers , spiritual dancers and extraordinary sunsets like in a fairy tale.
She grew up listening to legends like Stella Chiweshe , Thomas Mapfumo and all the beautiful music from the whole African continent. World music played all day long on her radio and live at the monthly full moon “One Love Ceremony” called Majiti that took place in the middle of the jungle. Her Grandmother Ronas Chiwara sang and danced at the Mabira ceremonies. This awakened her deep love for dance, music and story telling.
A few years later, after her Grandmother’s death, OG left home and vowed to find the answers to why people die and demanded to know everything about the whole existence of all humanity.
Are we not all one? Are we not the God, we have been waiting for , for so long?
She arrived in Austria early 90’s and started off with acting and story telling through music and dance at the Akzent Theater and travelled all over Austria playing the mother of a supernatural boy called Sebe. She then joined the music dance group Afro gogos and many other countless groups all over Europe where she danced and talked to the spirits, told stories of the lives in the Ghettos in Harare and all the places she has been around the world.
Having more and more to tell and share with the world, she decided to finally grab the microfone and spread her messages of Love and Unity, recovered Knowledge, through the expressive music of Makossa & Megablast.
Music, Love and Dance are the languages she speaks fluently.
When she is on the stage, she lets her ego step aside and let the spirit take over.
“Actually the ego has been long shedded” , she says with a smile.
Her fav qoutes from a dance lover:
“The beat is a lover that never disappoints and, like all lovers, it demands 100% surrender. It has the power to seduce moves we couldn’t dream. It grabs us by the belly, turns us inside out and leaves us abruptly begging for more. We love beats that move faster than we can think, beats that drive us ever deeper inside, that rock our worlds, break down walls and make us sweat our desires. Prayer is offering our bones back to the dance. Prayer is letting go of everything that impedes our inner silence. God is the dance and the dance is the way to freedom and freedom is our holy work”
Music heals the body, comforts the lonely hour, illumines the darkest path, overcomes fear, builds charackter, brings prosperity and reveals the meaning of life.
Let us all love one another. We are all ONE.
One Self incarnate in all bodies and is deathless, ageless and is eternal spirit.
Look around and understand this is the Paradise!
We’re One, and yet there is only one like you!
