Sascha Weisz, aka Megablast, has been making musical waves for some time now with his unique take on house music – a very personal and eclectic interpretation of crossing genre boundaries of afro-cuban and world music, dub, cosmic and trippy techno.
Since experiencing Ibiza from 2015 onwards, he has played at some of the most famous venues on the island such as Pacha, Ushuaia, Heart and Las Dalias. In addition to being a highly respected and sought after artist in Ibiza, he has gained international recognition with gigs at Scorpios Mykonos, Soho Garden & Coya in Dubai, Peru, Marrakesh and many others.
With releases on labels like Sol Selectas, Flying Circus, Madorasindahouse, MoBlack, !K7 and G-Stone (Kruder & Dorfmeister) as well as having his tracks remixed by influential producers like DJ Koze, Acid Pauli, Luciano, Booka Shade, Jenia Tarsol, Chaim, SadoV (Red Axes), Stereo MCs and Henrik Schwarz, he clearly demonstrates his wide range of musical styles and unlimited love for different genres.
Although he DJs at mega clubs, he is no ordinary scenester. He has a fine collection of vintage synths in his studio, but he rates his young daughter as his biggest creative inspiration. His outlook on life has changed completely since becoming a father. The stressed out industry hustler he used to be has been replaced by a man who enjoys living among nature and spending time with his daughter.
ANDREAS WEISZ
Andreas Weisz rooting his distinctive and delicate style in electronic music. From the very start – he claimed a very characteristic sound-aesthetic: club-oriented and beat-driven, but also tricky and deep.
With his productions he already gained a lot of attention. He collaborated with many producers & musicians like his brother Megablast, Darksidevinyl, Max Doblhoff, Ken Hayakawa and many others and also was remixed by international Acts as Henrik Schwarz and Acid Pauli.
Back in 2011 he and his brother Sascha founded the record label “Luvlite Recordings“ and also teamed up under their artist alias WEISZ². The duo's releases “El Vagabundo“ and “Ko Si Eda To Mola“ feat. Aladin Anyebe gained a lot of success. For some years he hosted “Soy como Soy Radio Show“ and “Stripped Down Radio Show“ on Ibiza Global Radio.
With features on Giles Petersons “World Wide Radio Show“ as well as on Ibiza Global Radio and global DJ support Andreas is slowly increasing his impact on the scene.
His latest collaboration with Max Doblhoff and Alai K “Niwache“ and his Remix for Inessa “Into the Deep“ on Leisure Music also received great echo.
RESONANZZ
As a bass guitarist, Daniel brought his passion and versatility to various bands in different styles.
Being a bit fed up with band life, he travelled the world and shortly after that he founded the project resonanzz which from now on should stand for electronic music of all shapes and sizes. Producing at home first releases were not long in coming. His own productions as well as the remix tunes found a small, fine following. All the exciting, catchy, invigurating music produced by resonanzz is made for clubbing and music lovers. Stay tuned for much much more.
